Boat Waxing

Waxing is the easiest and most affordable way to maintain your boat’s glossy appearance. Boat wax also protects the porous gel-coat surface, shielding it from the damaging effects of UV rays, dirt and weather. In the Midwest, waxing is recommended prior to launch and once mid-season.

ProGlow Marine uses only top-rated professional waxes, including 3M and Colonites. To achieve the best possible results, our boat waxing process begins with complete removal of all old wax and surface contaminants. This important step prevents unnecessary wax build-up that can actually dull a boat’s finish over time. Once cleaned, a coat of wax is applied and buffed-out to achieve a truly dock-stopping reflection.

Surface cleaned using 3M Sharpshooter to remove old wax and contaminants
Machine-applied wax
Hand-buffed removal of wax
